Can I get multiple advances?
Yes, you can get multiple advances. If you only need a small advance now, we can do that. If you need an additional advance later, we can do that too. We can also set up a monthly disbursement. We commonly do several advances over the lifetime of an injury case.
How is pre-settlement advance paid back?
The advance is paid back directly from your settlement. You make no payments until you win or settle your case. If you happen to lose your case, you keep the advance and owe us nothing.
How much pre-settlement funding can I get?
You can receive funding in any amount. Our minimum advance is $500. There is no maximum limit to the amount of funding you may receive. Funding amounts are determined solely by the facts of your case.
What information do you need from my attorney?
The information we require from your attorney varies from case to case. In an auto accident case, we require an accident report, damages itemization and insurance information. Depending on the case, we may need to see some medical records as well. Our consumer protection privacy policy is available for viewing on our website.
Do I need to let my attorney know I am seeking pre-settlement funding?
Yes, you should call your attorney and let him know you are seeking funding with Great Bay Capital. He will need your permission to release certain documents to us in order to evaluate your case.
How long does it take to receive pre-settlement funding?
As little as 24 hours and in some cases the same day! We will contact your attorney immediately after you apply. Once we receive the necessary documentation, we will review it and contact you with our funding decision.
When can I apply for a lawsuit loan?
You can apply at any time. We only need a few documents from your attorney to process your case. If your case is new and the attorney doesn't have a needed document, we can wait.
